Has anyone used this before? I have not bought any devices as yet because I know that Amazon these days is a gamble whether it'll work with sideloaded apps.

Just wondering where you have found this? I have been looking on placse like Alibaba because they do job lots very cheap in bulk. Amazon and stuff if you are just looking for one box will be around 30 gbp which I don't think is the worst but depends on how many you want.

I bought this off someone from Vinted, was probably the best buy that I made personally. I still enjoy using Sat boxes personally myself, can be handy if you have an antenna and want to use it for actual TV as well.

I haven't used this one personally but I do have a ZGemma and I highly recommend those. I don't doubt that the GT Media boxes are good, probably very similar to the ZGemma.

I can vouch for the GT Media boxes as I have one. I know ZGemma's are good as I have had friends who have had those. I think the difference is the price. The GT Media boxes are far cheaper to get than ZGemma.

So really the way to look at it is GT Media is a poor man's ZGemma HAHA!
